Every time someone claims our downtown is void of people you notice who they regard as people
#Ours gets branded as “dead” because our pedestrian zone doesn't have a still big chain store. There aren't many stores at all.#The city council wanted to turn it into a parking lot because of that - “pedestrian zones” don't exist for pedestrians but for shopping.#It is full of people though. We have a playground there. With manymanymany kids playing on it at every time of the day.#My coworkers said they're scared to go there because you don't hear a single word of german there.#What are you scared of. Those kids are three cheese high. They're probably talking about digging out the climbing rack.
